G. Dep Convicted Of 1993 Murder

G. Dep  has now been convicted and was found guilty of murder for shooting a man while robbing him at gunpoint in 1993.

Although G. Dep believed he had been linked to the wrong victim in the trial, he could face 15 years-to-life for killing 32 year-old John Henkel. Upon hearing the verdict G. Dep hugged his lawyer, Anthony Ricco.

Ricco says of the former Bad Boy Records rapper, “He has a conscience and a heart, and his conscience and his heart brought him to where he is today. He’s probably making the most powerful statement a rapper of his era can make, which is to be accountable and to do the right thing.”

“Eighteen years ago, the defendant made a calculated decision to steal from, shoot, and kill an innocent person on the street,” said Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr.

G.Dep will be sentenced on May 8th.

I commend Dep for doing his thing and finding his peace with the man above. He did get away with murder.. he should’ve talked with Jesus to avoided that jail time but more power to him. I’m just trying to understand what P.Diddy does to these Bad Boy artist that makes them flip??

Biggie got killed, which he probably set the hit up himself. Loon and Shyne are both Muslims and live in Jerusalem and now this??
