Tank – “Intermission – The Mixtape” (Download)

San Antonio, TX Hip-Hop artist Tank releases his latest project “Intermission – The Mixtape”.  Download HERE.

It’s a solid 23 track album with bangin’ ass production all the way through.  The whole feel of the record is something different, and quite honestly refreshing.  It has a good blend of everything showcasing his versatility when it comes to song writing.

I’m not going to get into every song, but I would like to mention a few stand-out records to me that I was really vibing with.  I must say my favorite record on the album is “Ancient Astronauts”, the production and the feel of that record is fuckin’ crazy.  You can tell he is spittin’ from the heart on this one and I appreciate that type of shit.  One thing I can say about Tank is that he is himself on his records; he isn’t playing a character or being someone he is not, he is just being genuine and speaking about HIS life – salute to that.

Another record I really enjoyed was “Don’t Wanna Be Loved”.  It’s a fun humorous record, but it’s real.  On this track, he goes in on all the hood rat bum ass bitches claiming to be “bad bitches”.   When truthfully the only thing “bad” about them is how their life is going.  You’ll get a good laugh out of this one.

The last record I’m going to touch on is called “Right Here”.  It’s a cut for the ladies with great production and a catchy hook.  It shows he has the ability to crossover and make those more commercial records.

All in all, I think it’s a solid album and definitely worth the listen.  So, do yourself a favor and download this joint.
