Curren$y is suing Damon Dash for allegedly releasing several Curren$y albums without his permission.

Curren$y has filed a lawsuit against Jay-Z’s former partner, Curr. claims he and Dash tried to release music together in 2010 but the deal never fell through. Curren$y claims Dash released two of his albums in 2010 but the two still couldn’t come to an agreement, so Curren$y signed with Warner Bros. in January 2011. According to the lawsuit, Dash continued to release Curren$y’s music, even though the Bros had the exclusive rights to the rapper’s music. $ is demanding that Dash stop profiting off him, and is asking for $1.5 million in damages.

Dash is firing back though, saying that he had permission to release Curren$y’s music and that Curren$y stabbed him in the back by singing with Warner Bros and fucking over Dash on their deal.

Dash probably just needed some new cash flow since Jay blew past him (no homo).
