Take Ova South artists Joey Baggz and John Pappa release their collaborative project “The Gryphon”.  After leaking songs over the net the past few months and hearing what I had to look forward to, I must say I’ve really been anticipating the release of this album.

Both artists are currently based out of San Antonio, TX, Baggz by way of Chicago.  Both emcees are definitely nice on the M.I.C. and they complement each other well on this album.  I would best describe their style as “Trap Music” but with actual lyrics.  Bangin’ ass production, great hooks, and dope lyrics.  These dudes can rap son.

This ain’t no Waka Flaka bullshit with bangin’ ass beats ruined by some retarded mufucka screamin’ all over the track not saying one logical thing, this is some real genuine street shit the dope boys can appreciate but at the same time, so can the hip-hop heads.  This is that hustler music ya feel me.

The self-titled intro track, “The Gyphon”, sets this shit off right ya’ll.  It gives you a perfect feel of what you’re in store for.  Shit’ll make you wanna smack the fuck out ya mamma son.

Then you have songs like “In The Kitchen” and “All I Know”….this the shit mufuckas on the block trap to.  This shit will make you want to hustle son.  This that shit you play in the car and the ghost of Tony Montana appears and smacks the shit out you with a brick of cocaine type shit son.

Oh and next time you playing Modern Warfare 3, throw on “I See Em”, you gon’ catch like 192 kills.  Shit will make you want to powerbomb little children and shit.
