T.I. Making More Moves, Signs Chip and Iggy Azalea

After informing the world that he signed Trae the Truth, T.I. also announced that he has signed new artists Chip and Iggy Azalea to Grand Hustle.
Chip is originally from the United Kingdom and is fairly new to the U.S.  He was signed in the U.K. at 17, had a platinum album, number one singles, and Top 10 hits.  His most notable hit song was “Champion” ft. Chris Brown – it’s also the theme song on Madden 2012.  Chip says, “It got to a point where people in the UK felt like if there was someone over there that could help bridge the gap between the cultures in the Urban music over here and in the UK, it’s me,” he explained. “Tip was rockin’ with what I was doing and we just linked up.”

Iggy Azalea‘s was one of the artists listed on MTV’s Hottest Ten MC’s for 2012.  T.I. will be producing her forthcoming debut album, The New Classic.

I see the King of the South trying to make them Cash Money moves.  I’ll be honest, I didn’t know who the fuck Chip or Iggy Azalea was before I heard about this.  So, I decided to check them out of course.  Chip is cool, I guess.  I don’t know, some of the shit he be saying might be cool, I just can’t get past that heavy British accent.  I just can’t take him serious.  I hear that accent and I think “proper gentleman, drinking tea and eating crumpets.”  No disrespect to the gangsta ass British sounding mufuckas though.

Iggy Azalea (fuck, that is so painfully hard to spell), is actually pretty fuckin’ dope.  She’s like a gangsta white bitch mixed with Gwen Stefani.  I’d like to see her and Nicki Minaj go to war. 

Actually, that Chip dude is mediocre at best.  There’s like 3 or 4 dudes in my hood that can rap circles around this mufucka.  Anyway, signing Iggy was cool T.I., but I don’t know about this Chip character yet.
